In this video we discuss whether one is allowed to make up fake numbers and donation amounts in order to impress potential donors to give more to a tzedaka cause. We also discussed whether one may place other money in a tzedaka tray (or on the webpage amount of a fundraiser), just to make it look like there has been more money raised than the true amount, and then remove the money at the end.
